PD Re-Imagined! How On-Demand PD Empowers Teachers and Expands Professional Learning
Sponsored by
The best professional development plans are those that offer a level of flexibility and choice for educators. Research continues to show, however, that traditional PD often misses the mark with one-size-fits-all approaches and face-to-face delivery, despite a growing interest from teachers in online professional learning options. Stride PD, from the leader in online learning, shares how its ever-growing, on-demand library of mobile-friendly courses solves this challenge for teachers and helps districts expand their PD offerings, investing in teachers at a time when we need them most. This low cost, award-winning PD solution is being used by a growing number of teachers, schools and districts across the country.
In this session, we will cover the following:
- How the flexibility of on-demand PD can impact teachers’ daily teaching
- How educators use on-demand PD to address immediate classroom challenges
- How mobile-friendly access to PD courses benefits educators
- How on-demand PD contribute to teacher retention
- How schools can integrate on-demand PD into professional learning strategies
